Yes. All of our items are made personally by me, Kris, in El Paso, TX. I source my wood from a local shop here and use food-safe epoxy resin.
The only item we do not personally make are the Walrus Oil® products sold in our shop to care for your items. However, Walrus Oil® is FDA compliant for food contact surfaces and made here in the US.
All of our items are hand wash only and not dishwasher safe. Heat from the dishwasher will not only ruin your item but potentially your dishwasher as well.
Special care is required for your board to maintain its beauty. Please see the Care Instructions section for additional information on caring for your item.
DO:
DON'T:
Our products are made from natural wood, which can warp or twist if exposed to excessive water or if different parts of the wood dry unevenly. Wash your board promptly by hand and let it air dry evenly to avoid any issues.
For detailed proper care and maintenance, please visit our Care Instructions page.

Cutting boards are specifically made for cutting and chopping food during meal preparation. They are built to endure regular knife use and are made entirely of wood.
Charcuterie boards, also known as serving trays, are intended for presenting food that is already prepared. Unlike cutting boards, charcuterie boards are not meant for cutting or chopping. They are often crafted from a combination of wood and epoxy, such as in river or ocean boards.
While you can use the wooden part of a charcuterie board for cutting, it may leave knife marks that could affect the board's appearance. The epoxy sections should not be used for cutting, as they scratch easily and can release particles.
No, the only "color" applied to the wood comes from Walrus Oil® Cutting Board Oil and Wood Wax. Any vibrant colors you see that aren’t epoxy are the natural hues of the wood, like padauk, which can be bright but may fade over time.
If your board appears dry and isn't repelling water, follow these steps:
Regular conditioning will help maintain your board’s appearance and functionality.
